Common Thing? Hobbies or a Hobby
Everyone you know or just everyone period will tell you that they're a
decent driver. It's one of those things people have in common. Another
thing is hobbies. Everyone has them. Whether you like cooking, garden-
ing, reading novels, playing a musical instrument (my personal list
topper), casinos, scrapbooking, exercising or spending extra time with
your kids, it doesn't matter. It's your hobby. It's what you like to
do when you have the time. It brings you enjoyment. As common as
hobbies are to people, the most common thing about these hobbies is
they pay you nothing or next to nothing (if and when you do get paid
for doing them). My guess is you'd rather spend your time doing some-
thing you absolutely love (your hobby) than strapped like a prisoner on a chain
gang to some desk or machinery or equipment for a boss and/or company
that doesn't appreciate you or pay you near what you know you're worth!
You'd love to have the free time to do what you want when you wanted.
No overbearing, mind numbing meetings. No punching some stupid time
clock. Better yet no waking up at the ass crack of dawn to commute to
some building bought and paid for with your blood, sweat and tears
while you get repaid for your efforts with some measley bi-monthly
paycheck that won't help cover the co-pay on the crappy insurance this
precious company you work for has so graciously given you! Sorry got
caught in a moment. But having time for yourself and your family
sounds nice doesn't it? But what, you may ask, does your hobby have to
do with kissing your job goodbye? In a word---EVERYTHING...
Let me tell you about myself and some discoveries I've made that are
at the least life changing.
My name is Jason Walker. I'm also known on the internet as J.D.
Rage. The owner and operator of http://www.moneyarge.com and
http://www.JasonWalker.ws.
As mentioned above, I love playing music. I have for many years. It's
my hobby. I searched for years and spent literally thousands of dollars
trying to find ways that would bring me extra income, so I could focus
more time on writing music and learning to play different instruments.
If there has ever been a get-rich-quick scheme invented, I'd bet you
dollars to doughnuts that I've thrown money at it hoping to cash in.
Guess what? None of them ever paid me over a couple hundred bucks com-
pared to the 30-50+ hours per week I put into them. My first realization
(after far too many dollars spent) was that simply putting up some
cash and hoping for the best wasn't going to change my situation. On a
side note do you know what the definition of insanity is? Webster's
Dictionary says Insanity is "doing the same thing over and over while
expecting a different outcome from the same process". Does the example
of beating your head against a wall ring any bells with anyone else?
This is how I felt. I tried again and again only to never get past
point A---being broke. Until I delved into internet marketing or its
more common name "selling stuff online". After I placed some stuff I
had in storage on eBay and got paid within a few days, I was hooked! I
started searching all over for articles, releases and books on things
that could make me better at it. A little extra cash was good, alot
more money? EVEN BETTER!!! Two words kept popping up in almost every
course, article, audio conference and telesiminar I read or attended.
"Guru" and "niche". "Guru" was just what it sounded like---a leader of
a certain field. One internet marketer was the "Article Guru" who'd
teach you how to get yourself noticed online using articles. Another
would be the "eBook Guru" who'd teach you how you could make money by
writing your own electronic books.---No different from writing regular
books except your final drafts are on computer screens instead of bound
in paper and covers. Still another guy or gal would be the "Traffic
Guru" that taught you how to get tons of people to come to your web-
site. You get the idea. Whatever the topic, the "guru" is the expert.
The next word was more confusing. Niche. You would always see and hear
"find a niche". A highly targeted niche. Get yourself a niche. You need
to be niche marketing. Type that phrase into Google or yahoo! and watch
your computer explode from spitting out so many related searches. It
was mind-numbing. Until a flash of lightning hit me one day...A niche is
a HOBBY! The chant of "find a highly targeted niche" translates easily
to "Hey, dimwit find a group of people that like the same thing and
want to learn more about that thing." That thing is a Niche---A Hobby!
Starting right now I've decided to combine the two buzz words,
but put my own twist on it. Niche and Guru are completely overused on
the internet. I've already told you "niche" should be "hobby" and I'll
change "swami" for "guru". So from this day forward I shall be the
"Hobby Swami"!!! (Corny maybe, but catchy? YES.)
My goal is to help you achieve everything you want out of life
so you can have the time and money to do what you want. To sign up for
my free 13 part course that will teach you how to turn your hobby into

mentor Stephen Ducharme that details how this 31-year-old went from
nobody to MULTI-millionaire in 16 weeks on the internet! To say those
results are mind blowing is a grave understatement.

Also of note Stephan's book "How To Get 1 Million Visitors Without
Paying A Dime In Advertising" showed me more about using this computer

of buying and reading multiple marketing courses. I shit you not...
